Greetings Initiates, Brothers, and Friends
We the Brotherhood of the Unnamed Path are pleased to announce that we are finally a 501(c)(3) organization!
We have been working on a few things internally since the start of the SARS COVID-19 pandemic and our 501(c)(3) status has been one of our biggest accomplishments so far.
What does this mean for the Unnamed Path?
It means we now have an Executive Board who will be managing the business side of our tradition/organization.
- They have no authority over the spiritual side of the path simply by being on the Board, we are still a Council of Brothers.
There is much to come!
- We will be creating and updating a new domain for our various websites.
- We will be working on creating a NEW digital event that will be akin to Stone and Stang.
- This event WILL NOT BE replacing Stone and Stang, but will be an yearly counterpart to our original biennial event.
- Plus much, much more!
We are very excited for this move forward and all that is to come. If you have any questions please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Brotherhood of the Unnamed Path
A Statement from the Brothers of the Unnamed Path
We the Brothers of the Unnamed Path wish to express our condolences to the families who have lost so many individuals to racial inequality and violence. Especially most recently to the families of George Floyd, Tony McDade, and Breonna Taylor. We mourn with you and ask the spirits of their ancestors and ours to guide them home. May they find peace and may they continue to rise in power.
Secondly we would like to condemn the excessive brutal actions of the police system. Systemic racism is a sickness that our country has had since its birth. It can often be seen most prevalently in the actions of those who are ‘sworn to protect and serve.’ We call on our local and federal governments to pass quick and decisive resolutions that will address this inequality and bring to justice those who murdered Black and other people of color in their charge. We demand a new system that will work with the community rather than against it.
Thirdly we believe it is not in our power to tell our Black siblings how to grieve and how to demand change. The loss of life far outweighs the loss of possessions and goods. As queer individuals our own struggle for rights and acceptance is often credited to the Stonewall Uprising or as others call it, the Stonewall Riots. In the words of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., “Riots do not develop out of thin air, certain conditions continue to exist in our society that must be condemned…Riots are the language of the unheard…Social justice and progress are the absolute guarantors of riot prevention.” Sometimes great trees that look ok on the outside are actually rotten and decaying on the inside. When they are like that they are often burned or cut down so that new growth will spring forth from their ashes.
Lastly we call on those who would call themselves allies; we call on you to stop and listen to those you are claiming to help. The focus right now is finding justice for our Black siblings and we need to listen to what they need. We need to use our privilege to lift up their voices and take ourselves out of the spotlight. Black Lives Matter, and we need to make sure they are heard.

We just recently observed International Transgender Day of Visibility, which was born out of the need to celebrate trans people around the globe, the courage it takes to live openly and to shine a light on the hurdles and issues they continue to face. So for the conversation today we want to talk about why it’s so important to be visible.

Walking the Unnamed Path is a podcast dedicated to delving deeper into the study of the Unnamed Path through conversations with our fellow Brother Initiates, students, and various guests. We also will be covering a variety of ideas and issues that pertain to queer pagan men in general in general.
We are back after a brief hiatus and we have our own channel now! Lots of changes going on and we will be talking about them in today’s episode. New Pride Flag design by Daniel Quasar
We, the Brothers of the Unnamed Path, would like to wish everyone a happy, safe, and fulfilling Pride Month.
As we go to various celebrations around the country and world, let us not forget that Pride has always been a declaration that we have the right to exist. This month we celebrate the struggles and those who fought 50 years ago, for the rights and liberties we now have, during the first uprising at Stonewall. We particularly honor our gender non-conforming siblings and trans sisters of color who have always been at the forefront of our movement.
We are a spectrum of identities & sexualities, and this month we also remember that our community is still struggling in some areas. Our transgender siblings are targeted more now than ever. Our Intersex, Ace, Aro, and Non-binary siblings are constantly having to justify just being themselves. Intolerance and ignorance is something we must continue to fight against both outside and within our community.
So as we go forward, as we march, as we live, laugh and love, let us thank our queer Ancestors for all they sacrificed to get us to where we are today. Let us promise to continue to fight & to make the world a better place for those who still struggle and those who will come after.
Blessings and happy Pride!
Walking the Unnamed Path
After a brief hiatus Walking the Unnamed Path is back on the air!
Walking the Unnamed Path started September 10, 2016 with brother initiates and co-hosts Mathew Sydney and Michael Greywolf. The show ran for nearly two years as part of the line up on the Pagans Tonight Radio Network (PTRN). Late in 2018 PTRN announced they were leaving BlogTalkRadio for a new platform.
For various reasons Michael and Mathew decided to relaunch WtUP on its own platform. Unfortunately around Imbolc, Mathew decided to step back from the show and focus on other projects. (We wish him best of luck and he will of course be back for special appearances.) Michael pressed forward and found two brothers, Chase Powers and Chris Ripple, who were eager to step up and help host the show.
As of March 27th, 2019, WtUP is officially back on the air. We will continue to post episodes here but you can also find them on these platforms:
